Yesterday it was over 80F. Today it is a cool 69F. Little rain. Still, life continues. New growth on a pine at the local garden, where flowers are in bloom everywhere. A walk in the open space nearby found mockingbirds singing away, looking for wives, and staking out their territory. It’s a stunning time of year.
While not where Wordsworth was, this little bit of local beauty is always a place of tranquility and quiet – a place, a place to be thankful for each day.
Another cross-processed and rescued Velvia image . . . absolutely hideous in CP and barely salvageable in b&w! What’s a girl to do? The camera, though, does a fine job when the user doesn’t mess up. The lens is a Xenar, uncoated, which gives it a particularly vintage quality that modern digital do not have.
Sometime ago I created this preset for On1. It cracks me up because it is soooooooo like the postcards I used to love buying, sending, and receiving when I was a kid!
