Just a random shot out of the side of the house which faces west. Early evening, so the lights were on and the last of the sunset can be seen through the trees and windows. Not sure which camera I used for this – Trip 35 or Oly XA4. I don’t even remember taking it – but do know I rather like it.

Playing with filters, it is possible to make a black and white photo look like a hand-tinted one from the late 1800s, early 1900s. I think this peony turned out rather nice, and it was a pale pink in real life, too. Shot with an Olympus XA4 using Ilford FP4+.
As temperatures soar to 100 F (38 C), windows are closed and shuttered, and marathons are not run. Beer instead!
Tom is one of my photo buddies. We met in a digital photography class over 10 years ago. He is one of the nicest, kindest people in the world – I am so lucky to know him!
