Goodwill Industries is a great community resource, locally and nationally. They were swamped today . . . I expect others are cleaning up on this gloomy week. I cleaned up the master closet and donated seven bags of bedding, shoes, clothes, material, purses, and who knows what else! I can actually see the floor of the closet.
I like both shots here – in color and in black and white. What do you think?
Nothing like cleaning house and thinking about corners. I looked up here and realized I had never noticed the crack in the plaster, nor the little indentation toward the shelving above. I expect I will find all sorts of weird things as I look at corners.
Last week, on a windswept and rainy morning, I ventured forth along the Moonrise Trail. My trusty Df and 50mm came along, and in the wind and rain, we took 1000 images (ah, how I love digital! so good for excess!), working to create panoramas. Success and failure always await. So, here is one of a tree . . . more to come!
Sunday morning we had weather! Like clouds in a normally cloudless sky. Rain. Chilly weather at 72F. And it was heaven.
So, loaded with film and with digital, I walked along the creek, about 50 feet above it on the Moonrise trail. For me, this is a bit of a sketchy trail because it’s a bit treacherous here and there, so always best with a friend. I shot a lot of panos that morning, and took a roll of film, too, with my Canonet QL17. Here is one of the panos of that exquisite morning sky. Click on it a couple of times to see it larger.
Enjoy!
You can thank Ms. Fraggy for the bit of inspiration!
…morning glory!
Even though they can cause a bit of damage left unchecked, these vines and their flowers are so cheerful!
