Hi Mark – thanks for the thoughts. I get what you mean about what America is becoming. The underbelly is showing itself, something always there. Then there are all the wars we fight and all the young men and women who get crazed by them. Old men start wars but don’t fight them. And the 2nd amendment. We still think we are in the wild west. So, go someplace safe. Stay in Canada, go to Japan. Meanwhile, there are huge fires on either side of us, and we could be forced to evacuate. It’s early – 530ish in the morning – and we are up, drinking coffee, getting fed, and packing some escape bags. Luckily we have family nearby, who stayed with us when they got evacuated last year, where we can go if necessary. Poor folks – they will have to deal with our dogs! Cheers . . .
Naomi–
So tragic. I am heartbroken! We are reconsidering our trip down in three weeks time…I am frightened at what America is becoming.
😦

Naomi–I hope you and your family are safe, and that the fires abate.
