Thanks for the compliment! That little leaf is probably a dead oak leaf. I live in Southern California, north of Los Angeles. Today, it is about 87F. Winter here means rain, and that means the hills become green and grow. Very upside down when you are used to snow and muck and chilly winds (I am from the midwest and east coast originally, where 6 feet of snow was a mild winter . . . .) Anyhoo!
